Windows Activation key coupled to what????

When you install Windows 7 or 8 OEM in Parallels, does MS see Parallels as the machine the OS is coupled to or the Mac HW????
IOWs if you have to reinstall in Boot Camp after installing in Parallels will the key work???!!!
If not the Parallels docs SHOULD HAVE SPECIFIED THIS~!
