Windows desktop matches Mac

new to parallels.. is there a way to stop the windows desktop from copying/mirroring my mac desktop everytime i log on?? if i delete it from windowsdesktop - then the mac file gets trashed too. How can i stop this behavior??

i dont need the mac desktop copied to the windows at all

To disable Shared Profile:

Open VM configuration
Click Options tab
Click Stared Profile in list
Turn Enable Shared Profile option off
