windows does not activate with parallel.

Hi,
I've just installed and activate winXP sp2 Home edition with boot camp.
after that i installed parallel desktop on my leoprad macbook.
for some reason, windows wont accept my activation key when i'm using parallels desktop.
if i reboot with boot camp i have no problems.
i'm comfused and dont know what to do. i would like to get some help guys.

i have seen similar threads over the nearly 2 years that I have used Parallels - I avoided Bootcamp because it waa in unsupported BETA so I can not give a useful answer.

Possibly editing the MAC numbers to be identical would fix it

just a guess that might mess up networking

Ronaldito, try the following: create two hardware profiles and use the same MAC address for the VM and Boot Camp. See the instructions here.
