Windows Email to Apple Mail

I made a big mistake this past week whereby I configured my IMAP email account as a POP account in Windows. Consequently, all my mail was wiped from the server. Now I've exported all the message and am trying to re-import them into Apple's Mail program. Any ideas on how to do this? I created a Zip file of the folders and moved them onto the Mac partition. Now it's just a question of how to get them back into Apple Mail.

Oh, I have done this myself a few times! ;)

Re-setup the windows mail (you don't say which one you used) as an iMap account, import the mail back into the imap folders in the windows app; shut down Windows and then use the Apple mail client to re-read the imap folders
