Windows error -2147024891 when installing Parallels Tools in 5160

Getting the following Windows error in our Windows XP SP2 VM following the update to Parallels 3 (5160) when we attempt to complete the Parallels Tools installation:

RegDBCreateKey (Prls.IntAppFile.Http) failed!
-2147024891
Access is denied

Tried the usual:
- Restarted VM & tried Tools install again. No change.
- Restarted Mac & ran Disk Utility to Repair Permissions, then started VM & tried Tools install again. No change.

VM worked fine prior to this. Reasonable amount of disk space available (4.97G free in VM, ~55G free on host Mac). And actually the VM seems to work okay in spite of the Tools update failing.

Anybody else encounter similar voodoo or have any suggestions?

Downgrade to build 4560 and wait for Parallels to figure out that build 5160 needs to be reworked.

Performing a custom install of the Parallels Tools and unchecking the "Shared Internet Applications" feature (detailed here: http://www.macwindows.com/parallels.html#061107b) worked.

Install completes and all is well.
