I am trying again to resolve this issue. In parallel 16, my windows xp virtual machine stopped when updating parallels tools at 15%. I have to have XP so do not bother talking about not using it. I have now installed 17. It is still stuck. I have stopped the tools install by resetting. I cannot access the start button. When I hover over it I get the hourglass, so cannot work out how to run the solutions that require me to type commands as I cannot get to type. The windows is so well blocked that the clock loses time compared with the Mac it is on. Any solutions? At all ?
