Windows Media player issue

So I was able to install XP sp2 on a 32Gig Bootcamp partition and boot it in Parallels Beta3 as well. Switching back and forth without any problems.(knock on wood!). The only strange thing is that Windows Media Player plays back garbage when in bootcamp but plays the same media just fine in Parallels B3????? Anyone have any insight? Quicktime runs fine in both.

The files I am trying to playback are WMV9 encoded. And like I mentioned before they playback fine in the WMV-player in Parallels but play all scrambled in Bootcamp????
