I don't like the mouse cursor acceleration on OS X and I would like for Windows XP to use the standard Microsoft acceleration. Can I somehow set up my mouse driver to be the Microsoft driver at least when I am using Windows? I know you can connect the mouse directly to the virtual machine but when I do that the mouse disappears in OS X and I can't get it back.

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hello,

could you clarify, what view mode are you using: Coherence, Windowed, Coherence..?

Also, you might want to deactivate mouse cursor acceleration on Mac level. This can not be done through settings, but there are third party utilities which allow to do that.

I am using Full Screen mode. I know about certain products like SteerMouse that can help with the Mac acceleration curve but, since those cost money, I was hoping I could somehow enable the Windows acceleration while in Windows.

    Hello,

Unfortunately Parallels Desktop emulates just a standard PS/2 wheel mouse. And it does not depend on the drivers installed.
