Hello everyone, I have a 2012 Retina MacBook Pro with 8GB Memory and I wish to begin development of Windows Phone 8 On a Windows 8.1 Guest. I created a VM with 4GB Memory and 1 CPU and installed Windows 8.1. After I installed the Visual Studio 2013 Express and Windows Phone 8 SDK and ran the simulator. It failed due to range of CPU's being from 1 to 1. So I read the following document: http://kb.parallels.com/en/115211 Then I set the virtual processors to 1 in Hyper-V for the Emulator, as recommended. Now the emulator doesn't quit with errors, but after few minutes of loading, it reboots the whole VM or the Windows OS is stuck it completely. It doesn't display a BSOD or something like that, just reboots the OS. The interesting part is that if I start the Emulator image in Hyper-V manually it actually loads the Windows Phone system and I can use it. But I cannot develop with it. Could someone help me solve this problem? Thanks.
