My system: last MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion, last Parallels desktop 8, guest OS is the Windows XP SP3.
If I change my screen resolution in the Windows OS with Parallels tools installed then the screen resolution goes back to the highest resolution after rebooting. If Parallels tools are not installed then my screen resolution is saved in Windows successfully. What do not I understand?
