Windows Server 2008 on Parallels Desktop?

I'm considering purchasing Parallels Desktop for my son's iMac, but before I do, I need to be sure that the Windows OS I want to install (the workstation mode of Server 2008, which is equivalent to but faster than Vista, and is available for free for students from this site, in case you're interested) will work. Can I use Desktop, or do I need to purchase Parallels Server? Thanks. {ProfJonathan}

Yes it is supported experimentally, but if you purchase now, you will get free upgrade to Parallels Desktop version 4, there Windows 2008 is fully supported
