Windows updates not configured correctly, reverting changes

When I log off of Windows, a message appears saying updates are being configured, but in the end an error message tells me the updates were not configured correctly, reverting changes. This takes several minutes, and it repeats itself next time I log on.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
