Windows Updates - update or not?

I'm running Windows 11 through Parallels Desktop 17 for Mac, Pro Edition on an M1 MacBook Air. When Windows prompts me to Update (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/update-windows-3c5ae7fc-9fb6-9af1-1984-b5e0412c556a), should I do that? Are there any potential conflicts with Parallels that could arise and leave me without a functioning Windows 11 environment?

 

I'm running Windows in the Retail Channel version and the updates never caused any problems.
With Dev Channel builds there's always the possibility that they break something, but usually they don't cause problems either.
Updating is a good idea just to get the latest security fixes.You can always wait a few days and see if there are reports about problems caused by the update.
