    Hi there,

Every time I start an application that requires a new session to be created I see the blue windows welcome screen.
This is annoying, as it is fullscreen. The user experience is jarring.
This happens with both my Operating Systems and 2X OS.
Why doesn't 2X hide the tsclient Window until the real application is started, and show a status popup instead?

    Regards.

Could it be that it is taking too long to logon so it thinks that something is wrong with the logon process?

From your previous posts, I am assuming that you are using a Win2012 server, right?

I have Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 publishing apps.
Also, my login time is < 5 seconds, so I don't think that is the problem.

Did you resolve this? I have exactly the same effect, from where I run an app, after the 2X splashscreen I see the windows welcome screen (fullscreen!) with "welcome", "processing group policies", "preparing your desktop" messages ... after that, the app opens seamless.
