Windows XP crashes, virtual machine exits before I can read/do anything

I'm trying to run a program (CodeWarrior 7.2) under Win XP SP1, newly installed onto Parallels Desktop 3.0 - 5160. Mac OS X 10.4.10, Dual 3.0 GHz, 4 GB RAM.

During compilation of some code, something happens, it crashes, I don't get any chance to do anything, no typical windows error message, the blue or black screen comes up with some writing, but before I can even read it, the virtual machine exits and flips around and I'm returned to the Mac Parallels window.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?
