Windows XP with shared networking, access Domain Network

Hey guys,

I'm having another problem with my Virtual Machine! I'm running Windows XP on the current Parallels 3 and I'm using shared networking as my network setup.

My Mac and my VM are supposed to be logged into a Domain. If I open the network with the windows explorer i see the domain but when I click on it it says I can't open it. If I search for computers in the domain I can access them without a problem. But showing them right away doesn't work!

Do you have an idea what might cause that problem?

Shared Networking might be the problem. Try switching to bridged and see if that works. If so, you will need to forward the relevant ports related to Domain Browsing to your Windows VM. There are some GUI tools, are you can use ipfw and natd to configure it by hand.
