WinXP Guest on Mac Mini

Hallo,

we think about an upgrade to Parallel 5 Desktop, so I downloaded the trail edition and installed a WinXp guest on it. Worked fine, but i have only a 10 Mbit Network on the Windows XP? How can I change this, or what did I wrong?

Hi Jörg,
Parallels Desktop emulates Realtek 8029 (RTL8029) network card, and you cannot change your network adapter.

I'd want to add some to post above,
The network speed will be much higher after installing Parallels Tools. Parallels Tools will provide special driver for networking and 1Gbit networking.

Internal tests shows that networking speed in Bridged mode with Parallels Tools doesn't differ from speed of host-networking for 1Gbit connection.
