first of all, when I turn on Parallels my Bluetooth Might Mouse freezes every time. It didn't use to do this but haven't used Parallels for quite a while. Now I tried going to the internet and I see that "connection lost". Am I going to have to trash everything and reinstall? What a hassle.....

Have you installed Windows drivers for your mouse? If yes then please remove them and see if it changes the behavior. Regarding the Internet connection, what is the output of ping google.com for example from Windows side (Start -> Run -> type in cmd -> ping google.com), try switching to bridged mode, check if Parallels interfaces are active under Mac's locations (Apple icon -> System Preferences -> Network)
