    Hello,

I have searched through the forums and the internet and I can't seem to find a solution to my problem. I want to connect my Windows XP VM to my wireless network but NOT through my Mac's connection or "Parallels Network Adapter". I want to be able to set up a wireless network such as this: http://www.ulster.ac.uk/isd/itus/laptops/setup-xp.pdf

Is there any possible way to do this? I remember being able to do this a few years ago when I first had Parallels or maybe that was Boot Camp. It would just make more sense to be able to connect to the wireless network separately. Connecting through the Network Adapter and my Mac has several problems. The internet on my VM will randomly disconnect every hour or so, not fully disconnect, but just not receive any packets for around 5 minutes at a time. I have also now encountered another problem where there is an IP conflict on my Mac and only my VM may connect to the internet while my Mac is stuck with no internet and "No Internet Connection" under the airport menu. I don't see how that has happened as I'm apparently still connected to the bridged "Airport" connection and without a connection on my Mac how do I get connection on my VM?

    Thanks in advance!

I would like to be able to do the same. I work in a corporate environment and can not have the Mac on the wireless network but would be able to connect the Windows OS.
