wishlist: parallels VM run in background when start without logon.

Discussion in 'Feature Suggestions' started by Parallels User, Dec 31, 2006.

  1. I would like parallels to add an option so VM can start when mac started without logon.

I have a webserver running as VM in Parallels. It's good if it will run automatically in background without my logon. Also, once I logon, I could get the console back when I run Parallels.

    nice idea.

I could use the same for different reasons.

I have a couple of light weight VM's that I use for FreeBSD and Linux development. They only get about 2GB of disk and not much RAM, so I'd be happy to have them started automatically. All I do is start them, minimize them, and ssh into them from either an xterm on the MacOS host or from my FreeBSD VM desktop.
