Won't recognize CDROM

I have one program, TOPO! which needs a CD in the CDROM drive to access data. The program will not recognize that the proper CD is in the CDROM drive. I can go to My Computer and read the CDROM.

I have two CDROMs and both can be read from Windows XP, but neither can be recognized by the program.

 

Is your setup off parallels looking like ex. ?

 

Yes - it is identical to that.
