Hi I got Parallels Workstation 2.2 and windows xp pro
I got a question
The Parallels Workstation won't show up my main hard discs
What I do?

Has Parallels tools been installed? I don't know

What is your host OS? xp pro

How are the disks connected? I got 3 hds. 1 hd connected IDE and other 2 hds on card

In Parallels, go to the File menu, and Edit Configuration. Check that there are three disks configured. If not, click on the add button, and follow the wizard through to configure them, one at a time.

What type of card are the disks connected to?

hi I was talk about my host drivers

I tried setup a SHARES FOLDERS but I can't see in virtual machine,
Viewing Shared Folders
To view the contents of the shared folders in the guest OS:
1 Start the virtual machine.
2 Open Windows Explorer.
3 In the Explorer, select My Networks Places, then select Entire Network, and find the Parallels Shared Folders.
4 Click the Parallels Shared Folders to view the list of shared folders available in your virtual machine.

but nothing there

Now he says a shared folders problem.

If they were setup correctly, you would see them. If you can't see them, then they are not setup correctly.

All the information you need is in the manual.

I am writng the same answer several times a day

PD Menu >> devices >>Shared Folders >> add

I have all my HD volumes and the Mac desktop
9 items shared

the one called .home is the drag and drop place
the period means it is an invisble folder to the Mac OS
just drag and drop a file from mac desktop to the windows desktop and see what happens

In Finder I use spotlight to find stuff in the shared folders
(click "open in finder")

I enter either from the file menu of a WinXp app or
by double clicking the Parallels shared folders icon on the WinXP desktop

So there you go. If you ever purchase yourself a mac then you'll be good to follow Mr Watkins' instructions.

However since you have xp host, and xp guest, that info would pale into insignificance.
