word attachments only opening in winxp parallel

Inadvertently, I must have changed a setting and now my mac mail word documents are only opening in winxp through parallel. How do I change it so I can open word attachments through my mac word? I don't use parallel winxp on a regular basis.

When Virtual Machine is started , go to Applications Menu - Edit - select Microsoft Word Documents and select which file you want to open in which application

Thank you again, but the only words listed under application are favorites (gray), running (gray) and reset window applications (black). How do I get all of the options from your screen shot?

Thank you for your help, but I still couldn't do anything. So I looked for a back door solution instead. I downloaded a doc to my mac desktop and right clicked to get info. I changed the configuration so that all .doc files will open in my mac word instead of xp word. Problem solved.
