As of today, when I try to save a document in Word, it is reaaaaallllly slow. I am not working on any particularly large documents - around 20 pages. Normally, if I hit 'save', the save is instantaneous, but today it is taking 5-10 seconds, and I just have to wait. This is frustrating in itself, plus sometimes I have to work on documents ten times as long, so it will become ridiculous. I have tried rebooting, but it didn't make any difference. There is nothing unusual going on on my computer otherwise. Can anyone help?
Hello ClaireT, Please try to perform the following steps to try to resolve your issue: 1. Right-click on the OneDrive icon and open Settings. 2. Go to "Sync and Back up" > Advanced Settings 3. Uncheck File collaboration. Kindly try and let us know about the result. It actually seemed to sort itself out eventually, but thank you anyway! I'll go back to these instructions if the problem occurs again.
