So I upgraded my iMac to 10.4.7 after which Windows XP crashes during bootup. Sometimes, after a MacOS restart, XP will boot inside parallels and stays running until the Windows desktop is visible and then XP is gone. No errors or anything, Windows just dissapears and I 'm left staring at the Parallels preferences pane....
I also have Parallels on my MacBook, and I transferred the hard drive file to my iMac, which I thought solved the problem as Windows then booted up and ran fine for several hours. When I shutdown Windows and then closed parallels, it asked if I wanted to update my "winxp.pvs" file which I did.
Now, Windows XP crashes again like it did before.
This same HDD file boots fine on my MacBook. Any ideas? I tried Parallels support several weeks ago but recieved no response.
