I have had this problem for a while. I was hoping that it would be fixed in 3.0, but it doesn't seem to have been fixed.
If I have my Windows XP SP2 VM running, and I change the Mac OS X network location on the Apple menu (from "Automatic" to "Work" or vice versa) then Parallels freezes and gives the spinning wheel of death mouse cursor when hovering over the start menu etc.
This problem does not occur if the VM is suspended or stopped.
I am using Coherence, I haven't tested if it happens when Coherence is turned off.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is it a bug that can be fixed in a newer version?
