I used Transporter to import an image of XP Home from an old PC that I have, and it completed successfully.
However, when I start the VM, it will load for 2-3 seconds, and then hang. I can boot into safe mode, but it will not boot in regular mode into XP. I have seen similar behavior at random intervals with a Vista image that was created the 'normal' way (not using Transporter), and I have had to trash that image and use a backup.
Any suggestions?
