XP in VM Crashes during Par. Tools install

It seems as though the installation of the display drivers causes Windows to crash. Every time, for me. Windows just goes away, back to a black DOS-like window, at which point Windows restarts.

I'm sure Parallels has scads of bugreport emails from me on this. ;^)

Does anyone have a workaround?
