XP Internet Games Quit

Hello:

Has anyone come across problems in Parallels Desktop 5 (Build 5.0.9308) playing the internet games that come with Windows XP? More specifically, when I try to play Reversi, the game will sometimes run for a minute or two and then the hourglass will appear and {POP} the game is gone.

Looking in the application and error logs does not give any indication as to why the application unexpectedly quits. This problem btw started when I updated my Parallels Desktop version to the recent build. In the previous version of Parallels desktop 5 this problem was not occurring.

Finally, I think its worth mentioning that in my bootcamp installation, this problem is not occuring.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

I have tried to reproduce the issue, but couldn't. Reversi runs just fine. Please reinstall Parallels Tools in the following way: remove any entry of Parallels Tools from Add or Remove programs, restart Windows, isntall Parallels Tools from Virtual Machine menu and restart when prompted.

Thank you for responding and verifying that you are not experiencing any problems. While this is a small issue, it is odd to me that an applicaiton can just stop without writing any error log to indicate there is a problem.

I am going to try and reinstall parallels tools and will follow up with a resolution hopefully.
