For over a year, I backed up my financial data thru a writable DVD/CD drive on the XP side of Parallels 5/6. I did a Windows Update last Thursday July 14. On July 16, Windows no longer recognized my DVD/CD-RW as a writable drive, even though I still burn discs on the MAC side. Can't find any support explaining how the problem happened or how to fix it. Anybody out there have the same problem?
