    Howdy,

I'm running a Win XP (SP3) VM in Parallels 4.0, and having issues with the amount of RAM the VM is using. I've got 4 GB on my Mac (ok, so it uses 3.something), and set the RAM setting in the Parallels Preferences menu to something like 2048 MB. Regardless of what I set it to here, when I start up the VM, it still only uses 512 MB (as displayed briefly during start up and also under the system properties while running).

Anybody got ideas about how to have these darn settings stick? 512 MB isn't enough to do anything useful for me.

    Thanks!

Thank you! That totally worked. So, what's the point of the Memory setting window in the Preferences menu?
