Hey everyone, long-time Parallels user, first forum post I am running Parallels on Yosemite. The machine is XP. While working with it, I got the 'compress to reduce space' message, which I accepted. After working for a while longer, I suspended the machine (last night). This morning I attempted to restore it and got an error message stating "The disk used by the 'xxxx' can be compressed only when it is stopped or running. Please resume the virtual machine or shut it down, and then try again." The restore is then aborted and I am returned to the VM in the suspended state. There is a link to problem ID 489 on the parallels site but that goes to a 404. I have restarting the mac, killed parallels via the activity monitor, restarted parallels etc but the XP vm always restarts in this suspended state. So I am stuck in a loop and cannot get this machine to restore. Any help is greatly appreciated.
