Xp went kaput on mac

    I tried to back up my virtual drive and I think I got a disk error and then was unable to start it up.
    Is it torched?

    Virtual pc does not give you an actual xp install disc, so nothing happens.
    Same message.

    Hi,
    The resolution for this is given here http://kb.parallels.com/5120
    Since it is a Windows error, you'll have to insert the original MS Windows CD into the optical drive of your Mac.
