xp windows running "clunky" in parallels 3

    I have a macbook with 4 gig ram, xp has installed fine and runs fine really, just the windows when i maximise/minimise them are kind of clunky, they hesitate for a second before catching up.

    I have allocated 2 gigs ram for parallels - any suggestions on how I can make XP run that bit smoother would be very much appreciated
