XP won't connect to internet

After issuing ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew, XP will not connect to the internet

Hi Bill Bartlett,

Now we will manually enter the IP address in the TCP/IP properties from the Windows XP.

1. Go to Control Panel=> go to Network and Internet Connections => click Network Connections.
2. Right-click the network connection that is connected to the private ICS network, and then click Properties.
3. On the General tab, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) => click Properties.
4. On the General tab, click Use the following IP address. Configure the entries as follows:
* IP Address: Enter the IP address you chose for this client manually. ( for example, 192.168.0.100).
* Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
* Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
* Click Use the following DNS server addresses, and then type 192.168.0.1 in the Preferred DNS server box.
5. Click Advanced, and then click the DNS tab.
6. In the DNS suffix for this connection box, type MSHOME.NET.
7. Click OK.
8. Click OK.

THis should fix the issue.
