im running parallels 10 on my MacBook air. I updated to Yosemite and now whenever I run parallels(windows7) opendirectoryd process shows very high usage 70-80 percent. This drains my battery very quickly because the fan is constantly running. Any ideas how to fix this? Everything was fine with Mavericks.

I don't think that the issue. Looked into that before, not using active directory domain in my MAC and thats for OS X 10.9.5 I'm running 10.10.

Everything operates normally until I run windows 7 with Parallels Desktop 10. Then opendirectoryd hogs all the CPU. Once I shutdown Parallels CPU usage goes to zero.
