PLEASE HELP!!!!!! CRITICAL Snapshot will not stop. Cannot use P4.3810.

Description: P4 started a snapshot during the night when the computer was unattended. The computer probably went to sleep. This morning when I went to P4 is was doing a snapshot. It never stopped. I did a Force Quit, but when P4 restarted it continued in the snapshot.

How do I stop the snapshot?

I CANNOT USE PARALLELS DESKTOP FOR MAC 4.0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fixed my problem

Don,

What happened to me was that my hard disk had croaked. Not physically, mentally. It got confused, and had an unrecoverable error, oprobably caused because I had to turn off the power. Then it would not reboot properly. Thank goodness I had copied my VM to another disk just yesterday morning, because I had to rebuild my whole disk, restoring it from Time Machine.

So, you should back up your VM and the rest of your disk, boot off the DVD, and see if your HD can be repaired. The repair option was grayed out for me! If it is, rebuild your system.

After that, my VM started just fine.
