VM using Vista Ultimate 64-bit - any success?

I tried installing Vista Ultimate 64-bit on Mac Pro with Leopard 10.5.6. Partially succeeded with build 4.0.3540 although tools did not fully install and coherence did not work. Upgrade to 4.0.3810 caused VM to blue screen and crash repeatedly. I deleted and created a new VM from scratch with the new build. Same result. Vista Ultimate 64-bit crashes after installation and will not run. My VMs with Vista Home Premium 32-bit and XP Pro work fine. Anyone with success using Ultimate 64-bit??
 
No, installing from downloaded upgrade. My 4.0.3540 original installation worked but the 4.0.3810 caused the VM to crash before starting. I tried unstalling parallels and reverting to the 3540. The VM would then run and I was able to deactivate CS4 while it was running. But again when I did the 3810 build upgrade I only get Windows blue screen of death. I have deleted the 64 bit VM and will try again with a later build and hope that this is fixed.

So far, this discussion deals with one persons findings of problems running CS4. What we have not heard about is whether or not anyone has formally tested this at Parallels!

So, I now ask, Has the Parallels team run even Photoshop CS3? Have you progressed to Photoshop CS4, 32 BIT or 64 BIT using Parallels. IOW, do you have any direct experience to guide us.

I need to upgrade from CS2 and am considering just getting the PC version and running it under Parallels.If you have a protocol that works, I'd love to know!
