I have three VMs set up with Windows XP SP3 as the Guest OS.
The one that I use for most networking suddenly stopped being able to connect to the internet. The settings are identical to the other VMs, which are able to connect just fine. I tried the solutions (such as they were) in the FAQ and a few I found here in this forum, all to no avail.
I suspect that when Parallels tech support answers my ticket, they will tell me to reinstall PD. (This was suggested once before for another problem I was having but I managed to solve it a different way.) What they never answered for me was what effect this might have on my existing VMs. Would they just continue on as they were, or am I supposed to take snapshots first and then restore them from that?
It would be great if someone can clue me in to better information on troubleshooting my internet connection and what will happen if I have to reinstall PD.
