I see network connection drops on my Windows 7 VM under Parallels 6.

Does anyone else face the same issue?

I am having an issue with XP pro and Parallels 5, but think it's related to Kaspersky Internet Security. My IP address changes to a non-functioning number....but reverts to a proper number after disabling KIS.

My network wasn't dropping it just wasn't working. I always used a bridged connection in v5, when I switched to v6 bridged no longer worked but shared did, which I can't use on my network at work.

    Anyone facing the same issue?

    Hi,
Most likely you need to upgrade to build 11822 (anouncement should be in forums)

    Hello Matt,

I'd appreciate if you could send a problem-report using menu Help->Report a Problem and post here its ID next time when you meet the issue.

I was running the latest version and it didn't work. Your support line didn't help me at all; they only cut me off. I've downgraded to ver 5 so I could do my job. I'm sure this will get edited as you'd rather fix the posts instead of the product itself.

    I'm already using build 11822.

    OK, I opened a trouble ticket #6722631.

    Thanks.

If you will have some time, please install the Parallels Desktop one more time (make sure it is the latest version - for now it is 11822), start the VM, reproduce the problem. Then click Start -> Run and execute cmd.exe. Type in the appeared window command "ipconfig /all". Then, without closing the window, click Parallels Destkop menu "Help"->"Report a Problem", send a problem report (it is not necessary to provide description) and post here the report ID.

Yes, but bridged worked fine and then it didn't.

I uninstalled Parallel Tools and reinstalled. Network was back.

And now it is gone again. Network connections shows no problems.

Internet explorer says there is a winsock problem.

I tried simply reinstalling tools this time with v6. Network issues cleared up on restart.

The setting I'm using is- Bridged on default adapter.

I report that I also experience this same problem with Parallels 9.0.24229

Using Mac Pro with this PCIe LAN adapter:
