Before I do another stupid thing

So in anticipation of Snow Lion I upgraded to snow leopard (10.6.7) from Leopard. I have Parallels 3 so it no longer works. I am reading that I cannot upgrade, but have to purchase a new version. Does this mean I have to uninstall windows and everything installed there, or can i just install the full version of 6 and all will work?

You don't have to uninstall Windows. The Windows VM will be converted and you will be able to use it in 6.0.

Note: it will suggest to do backup of VM before the upgrade and it is strongly recommended to allow this in case something will go wrong
