Hi, for some reason DHCP is disabled in the Parallels networking configuration. Please open the networking configuration from menu of Parallels Desktop -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Change Network Setting and press the "Restore Defaults" button. Then reboot or boon Windows VM. Please send one more problem report if this doesn't help.
I am having the same problem. I have tried every solution I could find online. I sure hope someone here can help. My report number is 10425342
You are running version 5.0. Interesting.. post me please your email via forum's private message and I'll send you some steps to try. As a temporary workaround I suggest to switch to Bridged networking and check whether it works in your environment (bridged is not guaranteed to work in all locations).
please send me your email-address via forum's private messages, I'll send you a fixed component and installation instruction. Unfortunately I can't say anything about official update to this issue.
Help My internet stopped working in parallels.... I utilized all of the troubleshooting tips on this website.... Can you help?? Parallels 5.0 with XP and running Mac OS 10.6. Parallels nice and stable for 2 years.... no known upgrades other than standard microsoft "security patch" and other Mac updates. I need to run my vpn and have to run explorer to access my work e-mails. Unfortunately my parallels... local area connection status page says SENT - O and RECEIVED - O. Gone through the reset option etc. Can you help.... Spent way too much time on this. Thanks.... Cougarav8r.

Most likely either you have some firewall on Mac OS that blocks prl_naptd (it is a process that provides Shared Networking for Parallels) from accessing the network, or you have a Proxy in your network. In this case you need to configure it inside Windows the same way as it is done on Mac.
Hi UmeshC, we like to know few more information 1. Are you using Parallels Desktop standard or Pro edition? 2. Have you used advanced network preferences in Parallels Desktop? 3. How many networks your VM is connected ?
