Hi, I just got an invitation to update the parallels software and after the installation, my VM could not navigate in the Internet Explorer from the Win 7.Neither it could connect to the VPN of the company. It behaves as if the Wifi is turn Off.
I wanted to uninstall the update but could not find the way. Please help to fix this problem that came up after the upgrade..... Thanks

Hi, please make sure that you are using Shared Networking. Then click Start -> Run and execute cmd.exe. Type in the appeared window command "ipconfig /all" (make sure that all output fits to the window). Then, without closing the window, click Parallels Destkop menu "Help"->"Report a Problem", send a problem report (it is not necessary to provide description) and post here the report ID.

    Same Problem Here

Today I updated from Build 7.0.14924 to Build 7.0.15050 on my MacBook Pro 7,1 running OS X 10.7.2. The MacBook Pro uses a WiFi connection to my home network, and Parallels is set to use shared networking. Prior to the update networking was working fine. After the Parallels and Parallels Tools update I have no network connection in my Windows 7 virtual machine. I did ipconfig /all as you requested of the original poster, and submitted problem report 11024352.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated, as Parallels is useless to me without network connectivity.

Unfortunately this build has a problem when "Show in System Preferences" for Parallels Adapter is set and this problem missed from both QA and development.

To workaround it disable this option (for both Shared and HostOnly) using menu of Parallels Desktop -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Change Network Settings and reboot the Mac,

If you need for some reason visibility of Parallels Adapters in System Preferences, please post me your email via forum's private messages. I'll reply with steps how to fix this (in a little bit complex way).

    Thanks

Thanks Elric! Disabling the "Show in System Preferences" option solved the problem. No need to send me the complex fix. I can do without seeing the Parallels Adapter in the Network pref pane.
