Macbook Retina Display & Visio 2007

I have my Windows 7 VM Video configured as "Best for Retina". Text size is the default 199% that Parallels sets.

When I use Visio 2007 the Stencils open full screen in a "super zoomed in" mode. All I see is an orange background and a pixelated "X". I can close this and see the Visio page normally. This seems to only affect the stencils.

I see a similar behavior in Excel 2007 with a particular Add-in.

To get around this I have to change the VM Video to "Scaled" and Text Size to 125% (Medium) the problem goes away.

Any ideas of how I can run these applications in "Best for Retina" video mode without these issues?

Hi Tom,

I've got the same problem! My Office 2007 only works in "scaled" mode. But I haven't got any resolution for it...
