Solar Fire Gold cannot find files

Solar Fire Gold is a Windows astrology program from Astrolabe

I just got my first Mac today & just purchased and installed Parallels 8. The first Windows program that I tried to install was Solar Fire Gold 8. I chose the default installation. Solar Fire Gold says that no matter where you install the program files it puts the user data and other necessary files in a SolarFire directory in Documents (or MyDocuments). When Solar Fire starts it complains that it cannot find files. The error messages multiply but they disappear before I can take down the complete error message. Something like cannot find file //pf/yadayada. Solar Fire the hangs and I have to quit Parallels to kill it.

I would greatly appreciate any help. I tried searching the forum, but could not find anything similar.
