    Dear forum users,

I'm running a virtuell Windows 7 32bit on my macbook pro.
I always had the problem with deleting some files in the windows installation (not sufficient rights it says). Because of this I was searching diverse forums about this problems and found out that lots of users running windows 7 have this problem. Reason: you don't have administrator rights, though the user-acount is Administrator. Solution: type in on common line interface: "net user administrator activation:yes". After this start over windows 7 and you'll be able to delete what ever you want.
I did this but since then I cannot check in any longer with my User-Name/password combination, thus starting windows at all. This is now a horror szenario for me.
My Question: Is there a known way to get this virtuel machine running again and check-in with user/password.

For any help I would be very thankful
    Jo

    Hi Jo,

Try starting your vm in Safe Mode, and "running net user administrator /active:no" from command prompt.
    to get to safe mode
select vm(but do not try and turn on)>Virtual Machine (near the apple)>Safe Mode
use the arrows on the keyboard to select Safe Mode as you would with any win 7 installation

    Hi KAT,

but how can I reach the command line modus? if I cannot register (check in) because it says that my password is wrong?
I startet another computer (also) with parallels. I could start it in safe mode but could never select to start the computer directly with command line interface, to type in the command.
Or did I misunderstand your answer? do you mean starting in safe mode means that it would start not in Adminstration mode any longer, thus I can give my password again? (I open this thread because I have this problem on my private computer at home - I will be able to check it not before 8:00 PM because I'm at work now)

    Thank you in advance
    Jo

    Hi Kat,

I'm sorry but your advise doesn't work for my case as far as I can see. I managed it to come to the mode described in the attached picture and started the Machine in Saved Mode and start to command mode. Unfortunatly this doesn't happend. Its loading all necessary drivers and than it starts over the GUI for inputing Username/Password. And it still don't accept the password. How ever thank you very much for your advise. I guess I have to reinstall every thing.

    Best regards
    Jo
