I am running OSX Mavericks (final release) and trying to dictate using OSX Enhanced Dictation into Win7 programs running in a VM. The new Enhanced Dictation doesn't seem to work very well. Here are some examples:

    (a) doesn't put spaces between sentences.
    (b) appears to interpret a pause in dictation as a new sentence, so the text will have no space between words and will capitalize the next word, like this: Mary had a little lamb, whose fleeceWas white as snow.
    (c) doesn't recognize the "new paragraph" or "new line" commands that work when dictating into OSX programs.

Anyone having similar problems? Anyone know a solution? I have opened a Parallels support ticket but there has been no response in two days.

I recognize that Parallels 9 May not support dictating into Windows programs, but I don't see a reference to it anywhere on the Parallel website. Even though I have Dragon NaturallySpeaking for Windows it would be very helpful to be able to use OS X Enhanced Dictation for short blocks of text. Dragon NaturallySpeaking for Windows doesn't run very well under Parallels and tends to crash. I haven't found a solution for that problem either.

    Thanks in advance!

Well said. I'm having the exact same problem. Speech recognition was the whole reason I upgraded parallels nine. Please fix this bug. Thank you.
