Need to save disk space - should I keep Win 7 or install Win 8?

My Windows 7 VM currently sits at 26GB, and most of it is Windows updates (I only have TurboTax and a couple of other simple applications installed). The current version is SP2. I can uninstall all of them updates to save disk space, but I wanted to know if it would be better to just install Windows 8 (which, presumably, has a lot of the patches already incorporated).

Hi mattchoo,

Please follow the steps as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/114654

Make sure that you backup the virtual machine before you perform the steps.

Thanks,
