    I'm trying to get Mac systems enrolled in a new installation of the Parallels Management for Mac solution, but am having problems getting the proxy agent to discover even one system. Looking in the pma_isv_proxy_service.log file yields the following errors:

    03-25 14:33:56.219 W /SmsMsgApi:8060:c38/ ISmsMessaging::Invoke failed for 'http://sccm2.cornellcollege.edu': 80004005
    03-25 14:33:56.219 W /SmsMsgApi:8060:c38/ Client registration failed: 80004005
    03-25 14:33:56.219 W /SmsResourceMgr:8060:c38/ Client from '10.101.16.14' () registration failed, status = -2147467259
    03-25 14:33:56.219 D /SmsResourceMgr:8060:c38/ Failed to create resource with

    Is this something that anyone has encountered before? My environment is as follows: Server 2012 R2 running SCCM 2012R2.

    Many thanks
    Tim

    Hi Tim,
    the quickest way to diagnose the issue would be to create a problem report and send it to us.
    Is you DP/MP allows HTTP connections or they are configured to accept HTTPS connections only?

    Regards,
    Yury

    Hi Yury

    I just generated and sent a problem report: #41845673. I actually have a support case open as well, but I haven't heard anything on it since March 17th (case #1865290).

    I have (I believe) tried both HTTP & HTTPS communications for the MP & DP, however they are currently both set to HTTPS right now.

    That would be the reason. Our Proxy doesn't support MP/DP in HTTPS mode. You need to configure your SCCM infrustructure to allow HTTP connections.
    Next PMM version 3.0 will add support for HTTPS. We have already started implementing this feature.

    Looks good! I can get the client to show under "All Mac OS X Systems" now! Next, to figure out Netboot for this scenario. Thanks for your help, Yury!

    You are welcome. With regards of NetBoot, do take a look at this KB article: http://kb.parallels.com/en/118518
