Possible to go in one double click or a single click from Mac Desktop to Windows 8.1 DESKTOP, without intermediate steps

Not sure what you mean? I have parallels running at all times and my VM suspended. If I want to open the vm, I just click on it and it opens after being brought out of suspension. Quicker than shutdown and boot as it would be on a standalone environment.
